For the history lovers

Meet @ Kitty's, start with a coffee sitting at the window and watching Dublin pass over O'Connell Bridge and plan your day. Don't forget to come back for dinner and live music to reflect and share the stories of your day!

Right on our doorstep

The Wax Museum

Literally next door to us, so it's the easiest first stop, home to Irish icons and rebels brought to life

The GPO

A 3 minute walk up O'Connell Street, the beating heart of the 1916 Easter Rising, bullet scars still visible on the facade

A short stroll away

EPIC Museum

The Irish Emigration Museum  about 8 minutes along the river at the CHQ building, tells the story of the Irish diaspora, brilliant for anyone with Irish roots abroad

The Custom House

10 minutes along the quays, Georgian grandeur that was set ablaze during the War of Independence in 1921

Trinity College & the Old Library

6 minutes across the bridge, home to the Book of Kells and the Long Room, founded in 1592

Worth the walk, or hop on the Luas/bus

Dublin Castle

15 minutes on foot, seat of British rule in Ireland for over 700 years

Christ Church Cathedral

18 minutes, Viking foundations from 1030, an atmospheric crypt below

Kilmainham Gaol

best reached by bus or Luas, 15 minutes by tram, where the leaders of the 1916 Rising were executed, essential and sobering
